Release Notes v1.9.4
21 August – 15 September 2026
🔊 Horn sounds
Every horn has its own sound. Under Horn in the game setup, each horn has its own pitch and length: the manual horn, the period horn, the pause horn, the timeout horn, the play clock horn, the shot clock horn and the timed buzzer horn.
Test each horn. A test button next to each horn plays it.
Restore defaults brings back the standard sounds.
Warning horn before the end of a pause. It can sound up to 20 minutes before the pause ends, so teams and officials know when play resumes.
⚡ Quick start
Default teams. A sport configuration can be given default teams.
Quick start game. Mark a sport configuration as Quick start game and it opens ready to play from the home screen, without going through game setup.
Hidden sport configurations no longer appear on the home screen.
💾 Backups on any USB stick
Windows-formatted drives. Export and Import work with ordinary exFAT and NTFS drives, including sticks with several partitions. Mac-formatted drives can still be used to import, but not to export.
Folders. Both dialogs have folders. The folder holding your export opens by default, and ScorePilot remembers the folder you used last.
Complete backups. An export is written completely before it reports as finished, so a stick pulled early never leaves you with a broken backup.
🏈 Scoreboards
American football. A new scoreboard with the sport's own play clock and scoring.
Volleyball serve clock. The serve clock is shown on the scoreboard.
Volleyball layout. The volleyball layout has been reworked.
Manual pause to Saturn scoreboards. A new output setting sends a manual pause over the Saturn protocol.
🎮 Game view
League logo and name are shown in the game summary when the game has one.
Starting the clock during a timeout. ScorePilot asks whether the timeout should be stopped first.

Saturn scoreboards | The red strip that marks an expired shot clock is switched off when a pause or a timeout starts. |
