What's new in Score Pilot

The latest Score Pilot update brings new scoreboard designs, clearer team names and smoother Sport in the Box integration. It installs automatically on your device.

New and improved

  • New scoreboard designs. The Scoreboard and Simple Scoreboard templates have a refreshed look for every sport. Simple Scoreboard now fits any screen shape without stretching or cutting anything off.

  • Club name and team name. Teams now have a separate club name and team name, for example "Hammarby" and "P15". Team lists and game setup show both, so teams from the same club are easy to tell apart. Existing teams and saved backups keep their names.

    • Only Team names are sent to scoreboards

  • Futsal penalties. Penalties can now be used in futsal and appear on the scoreboard.

  • Stoppable pauses. You can stop the clock during a pause, just like during a period. The smart button turns yellow while a pause runs and red when it is stopped.

  • Faster team changes. When you switch the home or away team, the new team and its players appear on connected scoreboards straight away.

  • Full player lists. Connected scoreboards now receive the whole squad, not only the active players.

  • Clearer buttons. The button for creating a team now says "New team".

Sport in the Box

  • Paired Sport in the Box units are named after the unit, making them easier to recognise.

  • Units that are switched off disappear from the pairing list, and the list scrolls when many units are available.

  • Cancelling pairing no longer leaves an unused output behind.

  • Teams without a logo from Sport in the Box no longer show a broken image.

Fixes

  • Uploaded logos and sponsor images are no longer cut off, and sponsor crops match the space they are shown in.

  • New teams can be renamed even when the sport setup is read-only.

  • In volleyball, the serve clock no longer overlaps the Serve button.

  • The edit player window no longer runs off the screen.

  • The default teams picker opens correctly again.

  • The shot clock no longer starts at 0.0 at the beginning of a period.

  • Restoring a backup no longer creates a duplicate serial output on the same port.

We have also improved device monitoring behind the scenes, so we can spot and fix problems faster.
